How to Assemble Your Canvas Teepee Tent
After unpacking the box, you’ll have your new canvas teepee tent up and ready for play in minutes. Here are the steps:
- Use the plastic threaded connectors to assemble the poles (be sure to get a pole with a hole in the end for each set)
- Unfold the tent and slide the poles into the four sleeves on the outside of the tent, being sure to slide the fabric all the way up
- Take the included string and thread it through the loops and poles, alternating between them
- Now, stand the tent up and stretch out the poles
- Wrap the string around the poles once and tie it in a bow

When I searched through tons of teepees on Amazon I came across this. It didn’t have any good pictures, but the dimensions seemed right for my two girls so I took a chance. I was afraid It would be too small, but it was just the right size. It was well worth it and I can add a better picture on here for everyone to see. It is well made, and my girls love it. I’ve included a lights on/lights off pic. Lights are separate, but I highly recommend the wicker lights they are so cute! Battery operated as well. Setup took about 15 min by myself.

We love this tent. I have a 5 and 3 year old and they both fit. They love the window. We wanted a tent with a floor to it to offer more stability. The floor is white and besides our crazy kids we have dogs who like to play in there too. I can already see paw prints. I wish the white bottom was grey instead just to hide the dirt but oh well, that’s what blankets are for! Still love this tent and think it’s the best out there.

I am pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this tent, and I am very happy I decided to take a chance on it. The materials are of the high quality I would expect from a high-end children’s store, and the extra details (a roomy pocket for board books and a window shade that can be tied up or rolled down from the inside of the tent) make it different from other similar products on the market.
The tent was very easy to put together, but my first attempt left the sides sagging. Once I adjusted the poles such that they intersected in a manner that each pole supported the next, the sagging and stability improved.
My kids are in love with the tent, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. It is adorable, durable and the quality is impressive.

In love!! Ordered this after debating multiple different ones. Wanted one for my son’s 1st birthday, one big enough where I can go in as well. He still wakes quite often and my poor hubby has been stuck on the couch for a year. Anyways. Decided to go with this because I wanted the square bottom not a Pentagon. I love it. It’s spacious. And it was even 20$ cheaper than other ones similar. I read the 3 reviews it had, and saw pics. It seemed like the one. It Is!
Obviously it comes packaged , so it will be Wrinkled. The packaging was perfect though! So before we set it up I ironed it. It looks great! Easy to assemble. I think the poles will be sturdy because they include twist connectors. Pop them in, and tie the string in the loops and around the poles bam! I’ve heard some duct tape the poles if they unscrew so we’ll see if I need to do this with this one.
There was a little snag about 3 inches long on the bottom where it looked like the threading was loosened connected the floor to the side. When the seller emailed me to see how I liked my purchase I simply told them that and they issued some cash back to have it fixed !! I was not expecting that nor looking for it!! They did it promptly too!
I am above and beyond thrilled with this purchase and so is my son. He just started getting excited and is beyond thrilled when we walk into his room! Thank you!

So far so good! This is the perfect teepee at the right price! I love that the cloth doesn’t ride up the poles, something i was searching for when i was researching teepees. It also has the cloth on the bottom just in case you didn’t purchase a rug to go with it, which we didn’t. My daughter loves it and it even has pockets on the inside of the tent to store books and other little things. The set up was easy and didn’t take long at all (with my husband’s help).

Very well made. I bought this plain white teepee and embellished it with fabric and iron on patches to match bedding in my nautical guest suite in our vacation home. This is a great teepee – strong construction, stable set up, and good quality fabric. Please add a cushion that can be inserted into the bottom floor – when this is set up on a hard floor it is very uncomfortable. We really liked the teepee, but we received the navy blue one (for the second time) rather than the gray one we ordered. Since we wanted to surprise him for Christmas, we set up the teepee to see if he’d like it. We returned the first teepee before receiving the second one thinking how can they get the order wrong a second time. Big mistake! My two year old had a complete meltdown that his teepee bed was gone.

We searched and searched for a teepee for my 8 year old daughter. We picked this one because of the colors and the fact that it’s supposed to be big. The pictures are misleading at most. We got it put up and my daughter has to get on her knees to get in. The pockets are down near the floor which isn’t really what the pictures show. The window is cute but tiny as well. The pictures show a lantern hanging up in the middle, good luck hanging one. Theres no place for that..For the price we expected it to be bigger and more useful. She’s already bored in it and complaining it’s small.. I wish we wouldn’t have stopped our search here.

Awesome teepee! There is an opening (window) on one side with pockets underneath to hold books and small toys. The front has two small Velcro closures to keep it shut and tie backs to keep the doors open. There is a cloth bottom. It was very quick and easy to assemble. The teepee is pretty sturdy and hasn’t tipped over or fallen in on itself even with a rambunctious kid running in and out of it all day long. Very pleased with the purchase.

The teepee seems to be made well with quality materials. The first problem I had was that I ordered blue but received black. The second issue was that one sleeve was sewn really tight. I had a difficult time getting the pole in. I ordered teepee lights also and the tight sleeve made it almost impossible to run the lights through that sleeve. It took about 15 mins to get the lights through the other three sleeves but the tight one took about an hour. I had to take the pole out, run the lights through it and then carefully, slowly return the pole. Now that it is all together and I am no longer sweating, it looks really nice and my grandson loves it,

A few weeks before Christmas, I almost purchased a very expensive play tent at Pottery Barn Kids until I saw that their tag indicated that it had chemical fire retardant. I am so happy to have found this Mustard Seed play tent — there was absolutely no smell whatsoever when I unpacked it on Christmas Eve. Thank you for providing a safe, non-toxic product — there are cheaper tee-pees online but I will happily pay $20 more for a non-toxic tent that I don’t have to worry will give my kids cancer down the road.

My 5 year old son loves this. The Teepee is actually better made than I expected, it’s made of a canvas material. The poles are nothing more than threaded broom handles that screw together. Comes with a carrying bag so it can be stored and also makes it easy to transport. We set the teepee up in our family room and my son is always in it playing. He even started taking naps in it…. we should have gotten this sooner 🙂

Highly disappointed. I bought this as a gift from “Santa” for my son’s room. We received the item, in a box, and of course waited till Christmas Eve to open and assemble. Well took my husband about 30 minutes to set up. The directions were very vague on how to tie the actual top of the teepee, anyway, he ended up googling how to tie it right. I wake up the next morning to video my son’s reaction and what do you know, there is a huge ugly mark on the front of the teepee: it’s like the gray paint bled onto the white part. Completely noticeable and on the front. I asked my husband if saw it while building, and bless his heart, after assembly said “yes, but I didn’t want to ruin your holiday spirit.” I wouldn’t be as upset if it was near the back or something. Just a waste to spend this much money, you would think they inspect these things.
